We at NvisionMax Media are excited to announce the second Annual Trendy Awards! Last year’s show was such a good time we just couldn’t resist an opportunity to do it again which means we will once again Kick-OFF the Los Angeles Gay Pride week with a bang of local talent, fun and great shwag at Micky’s in West Hollywood!
As we start planning for the show and picking our dates, we encourage you, the fans to start getting your nominations in order so we can honor your favorites! The Trendy Awards are intended to honor the Fan's choices, giving accolades to those who are currently leading the Pop XXX Culture Trends. In a world where Popularity is a commodity as reliable as Fame, the Trendy Awards mission is to celebrate those trends, fads, fashions, and NOW moments before they fade into the obscurity of yesterday's news only to resurface years later as a retro delight.
Last year's show featured Porn Stars on stage with audience members battling it out for prizes, Dragstress Syren Vaughn, the WeHo Cheerleaders, the Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence and local celebrities entertaining us for hours and this year we hope to do even more making it the must see show of the weekend.

Coming up with a fair way of honoring the Gay world's top Porn Stars, Studios, Online Sites, Amateurs, Community Contributors, Hot Spots & Personalities was by no means an easy task. How could we make an award show that was transparently voted, yet retain the surprise for the category nominees until the winners are announced? Therefore, after much consternation and deliberation we have come up with the following plan to ensure real-time transparency of all voting and fairness to the participants, providing an authentic surprise for our winners and voters, and most importantly, creating a fun event for all involved!
We will begin accepting nominations for the Trendy Awards on February 15th 2011 for all awards categories, as well as, appointing judges. Our goal is to appoint an even number of Industry Professionals and Industry “Fanatics” to create a truly balanced panel of Judges who will oversee the voting and confirm the final list of nominees by April 15th 2011. The judges will NOT be choosing the winners; that is up to YOU, the fans in the gay community. As they are an important part of the process, our 3 “Fanatic” Judges must be individuals who have established themselves as true Industry Fans.
It is okay to nominate yourself or your company and the final nominees will be based on the most emails received and ballots collected at Micky’s Cocktails With The Stars during the nomination process for a particular category.
Once all the nominations for the categories are gathered, Voting will open on March 15th, 2011. Then the Fans, Surfers & Adult Industry get their chance to choose their favorites for each category! Each Judge will have real-time access to oversee the voting results from www.TheTrendyAwards.com via special admin access as the voting occurs. Voting will end at midnight May 27th, 2011 PDT. Ballot validity will be confirmed by IP Address and Computer to ensure each person is allowed only one vote. In the case of ties the Judging Panel vote will be final and binding to determine the winner.
To prevent Judges from prematurely sharing the results, should a Judge be found to be cheating or violating the rules of serving on the Judging Panel, said Judge will be removed from the panel and not allowed to attend the awards. Judges will not be allowed to release the names of the winners before they are announced at the Trendy Awards 2011. All Judges will be required to sign an NDA to serve as a judge. Just like any other Surfer or Fan, each Judge in the voting process will only be allowed to cast one ballot per category.
